Get to know Anne Marie McGuire

Throughout my life, I have felt drawn to connecting with individuals by hearing their stories and sharing meaningful conversation. I recognized how impactful kindness, connection, and support could be. I understood how stress, relationships, trauma, and environmental factors could impact mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. My personal experiences and passion for social justice drove me to pursue my Master’s in Social Work to be a mental health therapist and advocate.

In my work, I aim to provide a safe, secure space where individuals feel seen, heard, affirmed, and empowered in their journey. My approach is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and person-centered. I utilize an integrative approach tailored to meet the individual’s needs and goals. I value understanding people’s identities and experiences in socio-cultural-political context, and I collaborate to build a strong, supportive therapeutic connection. I find great meaning and joy in supporting people on their journey of healing, growth, and self-discovery.
