From an early age, I have been deeply drawn to understanding people’s emotions, experiences, and personal growth. My journey to becoming a therapist was fueled by my belief in the power of human connection and the resilience within each individual. I have always been passionate about providing a safe, nonjudgmental space where people can explore their thoughts, process their emotions, and discover their own strengths.
As a person-centered therapist, I believe that each person holds the ability to heal and grow when given the right support and environment. My approach is rooted in empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard, allowing clients to feel truly heard and valued. Whether you are navigating life transitions, coping with anxiety or depression, or simply seeking greater self-awareness, I am here to walk alongside you, honoring your unique journey.
I chose this path because I know the impact that feeling seen and understood can have on a person’s life. About Erica Morand
Erica is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over a decade of experience supporting individuals through life’s challenges. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Indiana University before pursuing a master’s degree in Human Services and Counseling at DePaul University. She has been practicing as a counselor since 2009.
Erica’s professional background includes working as a school counselor and case manager, and assisting elementary and high school students in their academic, social, and emotional development. She also spent years as a grief counselor and program director at a nonprofit organization, providing compassionate support to individuals of all ages and families coping with loss.
